To all my friends and supporters,
By now most of you will know that I came in 4th (300+ votes behind) in the third place finisher (top 3 continue to general election in November). With the campaign being over (again) I will now be caching up on my somewhat neglected family duties (my new grandson needs paw paw's spoiling).
I wish to thank everyone for their help and support, without it I would have been lost in a sea of confusion. With your support I finished very respectable coming down to the wire receiving some 1600 votes with the 5th place finisher receiving almost 700 votes. The low voter turnout is what really sealed the loss. You can not win when so many of your base does not vote.
The main thing I wish to convey to everyone is how much I really appreciate your support.
Fraternally,
Carl Eastham
